learn about our circle garden

TreeSong was awarded a $2,500 grant funded by the Camas Washougal Rotary Club through the Camas-Washougal Community Chest to create a native plant circle garden, which serves to educate visitors as well as offers a peaceful sanctuary to the community.

In addition to the generosity of the Rotary Club, Hannah Schrager from Good Year Farms was instrumental in creating our garden. She donated her time as well as plants to the project.

The garden provides an avenue through which all can learn about many of our native plant species (field guides featuring all the garden plants are available to visitors).

Members of our community have created beautiful ceramic birds and other creatures to decorate, and we hope the garden will facilitate much more art-making, peace, and learning in the years to come.

The Rotary Club’s Peace Building Committee donated funds to bring this beautiful peace pole to the garden. Our Tuesday Circle Keepers group (aka the Dragonflies) planted the peace pole in December 2021.

THANK YOU TO ALL THE COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO MADE THIS PROJECT POSSIBLE
