TreeSong’s Opening Night

Guest blog from Nicole Banta, TreeSong Board Member

Last month, a small group of TreeSong’s nearest and dearest came together to celebrate TreeSong’s opening night on the eve of its first program. Guests brought food to share and I must say, TreeSong’s supporters are quite exceptional cooks! In addition to food, we prepared a time capsule to be opened on TreeSong’s first anniversary, unveiled TreeSong’s beautiful hand-carved wooden sign, sang songs beneath the trees, planted peace seeds and enjoyed the view of the river. The night came to a close with the unveiling of TreeSong’s logo and beautiful harp music.

It was an incredible evening to celebrate TreeSong’s official beginning! Michelle, you are a force to be reckoned with, you are doing GREAT things and we’re all so grateful for your dedication and inspiration.
