LAURA WHITTEMORE

Get to know the incredible diversity of birds that inhabit our many wet places. Whether we seek the large and easy-to-spot Great Blue Heron or the small and secretive Sora, a wetland can keep us busy looking for birds for hours. We’ll cover water birds like herons and rails, songbirds and ducks that favor marshes, plus get to know the Wilson’s Snipe, an cryptically colored shorebird that’s often heard before it’s seen.

TUITION: $10 - $20 SLIDING SCALE (plus processing fees)

BIPOC SCHOLARSHIP TUITION: $0
