INSTRUCTOR:
Zebith Thalden
Spend time celebrating the largest group of living organisms known to science: beetles! In this two-part workshop, we will honor this ancient order of insects as we observe, draw, and paint simple yet beautiful compositions.
The first session will focus on their incredible exoskeletons, compound eyes, and intricate antennae. Techniques for creating quick, realistic, and elegant drawings will be covered. In the second session, we will bring our drawings to life using brilliant colors, voluminous shading, and purposeful highlights as we each work toward creating a finished piece.
All levels are welcome.
