Instructor bio:

“I have worked as a professional artist for over five decades. My love for art and the creative process has been a major part of my life since I was a child. I frequently work in clay, mixed media, and found objects, to create unique and expressive sculptures, 2-D art, and assemblages. Stretching the limits of mixed media allows for me a depth of expression that isn’t available with only one medium.

I draw much of my inspiration from a deep and lifelong passion for nature and animals, a theme that runs through most all of my work.

As a trained art therapist, I believe that all forms of art making can have a rich therapeutic impact on the art maker.

My work can be seen at Attic Gallery in Camas, Guardino Gallery in Portland, Aurora Gallery in Vancouver and RiverSea Gallery in Astoria.”
