Spend a glorious day creating a colorful basket for gathering your summer treasures. Have fun learning to create a unique basket of your own using a variety of weaving materials and techniques. Leave with your new basket over your arm ready to collect flowers or veggies from your garden, shells from the shore, eggs from your hens or to store whatever your heart desires.
Come discover the joy of basketry. No experience necessary! Beginners welcome.
Since this workshop is an all day affair, please make sure and bring a sack lunch.
$45.00 workshop fee plus $20.00 materials fee for three wooden base rings, a variety of different sized pre-dyed reed, cordage, jute, rope.

Brecia Kralovic-Logan’s love affair with basketry began over 50 years ago when she made her first basket. Since then she has joyfully explored many different basketry techniques and is still fascinated by baskets of all sorts. Working with plant materials to create a vessel is like a collaboration and Brecia has so much fun with the process. As a teacher her mantra is “Play. Explore. Discover”. For the past 30 years, she has been a professional artist working in fiber and absolutely loves to share her enthusiasm and creative joy with her students.
