Autumn in such a glorious time in the Northwest. Along with the cool mornings and evenings, but often still warm days, it brings us all the bounty of the harvest. Join us for a relaxing, delicious late afternoon exploration and enjoyment of the edible gifts of this amazing season. During the class you can sit back, listen and watch or you can choose to help with some of the tasks, allowing each participant to craft their own unique experience of the afternoon. Of course we will all taste and savor each dish. The menu for the afternoon includes Roasted Pumpkin soup with Creme Fraiche, Hazelnut Gremolata; Warm Goat Cheese, Radicchio and Pear Salad with Candied Walnuts; Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Mushrooms and Sage Brown Butter; Pork Pinwheels with Apple Cardamon Couscous; and Apple Cake with Salted Caramel Sauce.

Since her first job picking strawberries at the tender age of seven, Karen has been filled with passion for food, cooking and gathering around the table. She’s a chef, creator and coach and loves to share stories, teach technique and inspire creativity. Her career is filled with experiences around the stove and the table.
