Come and join Sally Jones of Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge as  she introduces us to the amazing variety of beautiful native plants that grow in the lush forest at TreeSong.  She will share the common and scientific names of a variety of plants as well as give uses for some and other fun facts.  Delving into the world of native plants is truly  a delightful and edifying experience!

Sally Jones has been interested in plants as long as she can remember.  She is retired from the fields of Medical Technology and Fisheries Biology.  She is now on the Oregon Mycological Society Toxicology Committee, specializing in plant and fungi taxonomy.  She is also involved in Habitat Restoration at the Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge.  She thinks the Northwest is amazing and wishes to encourage others to appreciate Northwest native plants.
